Mathematics is one of the oldest disciplines and one of the most developed disciplines of the basic sciences. Mathematicians make a lasting contribution to society by contributing to problem solving in areas as diverse as medicine, administration, economics, government organizations, informatics, physics, psychology, engineering and science.
Being the mother of sciences, it is taught as a general course in all disciplines in the university. It offers an undergraduate program BS (4-Year) in Mathematics. The objective of this department is to seek excellence in Mathematics through teaching and research with the help of our highly qualified faculty.

Objectives
The Objective of the M. Phil Degree Program is to prepare the students with advanced knowledge of Mathematics applicable to other sciences and technologies and also produce competent research scholars for recognition of our country internationally based on quality of work in Mathematics.
