Vision Statement: Rawalpindi Women University’s Psychological Wellness Center plays a
crucial role in promoting the mental and emotional well-being of students and the university
community. To enhance the psychological well-being of our diverse student body, to create a
university community where the mental and emotional well-being of all students is prioritized,
supported, and celebrated, fostering an environment of academic and personal success.

Mission Statement: At the University Psychological Wellness Center, our mission is to enhance
the psychological well-being of our diverse student body. We provide accessible, confidential,
and culturally sensitive mental health services that empower students to succeed academically
and personally. We offer personalized counseling, therapy, and support services tailored to the
unique needs of each student.

 

Services Offering
We engage in proactive efforts to educate students about mental health,
coping strategies, time management, and emotional resilience, fostering a culture of well-being.
At RWU’s Psychological Wellness Center, we provide a comprehensive array of services aimed
at enhancing mental health and well-being of our Students. Our offerings include:

  1. Personality and Intelligence Testing: Gain insights into the personality traits and
    cognitive abilities through thorough assessments.
  2. Cognitive and Behavioral Counseling: Receive personalized guidance and support to
    address various psychological challenges students face and develop coping strategies
    accordingly.
  3. Stress Management: Learn effective techniques to manage and alleviate academic and
    other stressors in daily life.
  4. Time Management: Enhance the productivity and organizational skills of our students
    through tailored time management strategies.
  5. Anger Management: Acquire skills to understand and manage feelings of anger
    constructively.
  6. Relaxation Training: Learn relaxation techniques to promote mental and physical
    relaxation, reducing tension and anxiety in the lives of students.
  7. Aptitude Testing: Explore the strengths and interests of students to make informed
    decisions about their academic or career pathways.
  8. Mental Health Support: Receive compassionate assistance in dealing with depression,
    anxiety, and other mental health concerns.
