Overview
The Office of External Linkages at Rawalpindi Women University was established in May 2022 with the mission to foster meaningful collaborations with national and international institutions. Aligned with the vision of RWU, the office is dedicated to strengthening RWU’s connections with national and international academic institutions, industries, and organizations.
Our goal is to create strategic partnerships that contribute to the University’s growth and global recognition. By actively engaging with key stakeholders, both in Pakistan and abroad, the Office of External Linkages seeks to build a strong network of collaborations that support academic excellence, research advancements, and institutional development.
Through proactive networking and innovative initiatives, we aim to bridge the gap between RWU and external entities, ensuring the University remains at the forefront of higher education and knowledge exchange.

Welcome to the Office of External Linkages at Rawalpindi Women University (RWU).
The Office of External Linkages is deeply dedicated to building impactful partnerships that amplify academic excellence, cutting-edge research, innovation, entrepreneurship, and community engagement. By forging robust collaborations with prestigious national and international institutions, as well as the industrial and corporate sectors, we bridge the gap between academia and the professional world. In close collaboration with the Office of Research, Innovation, and Commercialization (ORIC), we actively create pathways for our young women innovators to transform their ideas into reality and successfully commercialize their intellectual assets.
Our ultimate vision is to foster meaningful, global alliances that drive institutional. We are committed to equipping our students and faculty members with the advanced knowledge, global skills, and diverse experiences required to thrive and lead in an ever-changing world.
We eagerly look forward to working with our partners to create a lasting impact, driving both the empowerment of women and a brighter, more inclusive future for higher education and society.
Services
The Office of External Linkages at RWU is dedicated to proactively fostering meaningful partnerships and creating impactful opportunities for students, faculty, and staff. Our key roles/services include:
- Establishing Collaborations: Initiating and executing Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with national and international academic institutions, industries, and organizations to enhance RWU’s academic and professional standing.
- Strengthening Institutional Linkages: Developing strategic connections with educational and research institutions to advance RWU’s mission in education, research, and innovation.
- Capacity Building: Organizing professional development programs, specialized training sessions, and skill-building workshops for faculty, administration, staff, and students.
- Academic Exchange & Partnership Programs: Facilitating faculty and student exchange programs, visiting scholar opportunities, joint research collaborations, cultural exchange initiatives, and internship placements.
- Knowledge Sharing & Engagement: Hosting national and international seminars, webinars, conferences, workshops, guest lectures, and online learning sessions to provide global exposure and learning opportunities.
- Research & Innovation Support: Encouraging interdisciplinary research collaborations and partnerships that contribute to knowledge creation and societal impact.
- Career & Professional Growth Opportunities: Identifying and disseminating scholarship, fellowship, internship, and funding opportunities for students and faculty to support their academic and professional development.
Through these initiatives, the Office of External Linkages aims to position RWU as a leading institution committed to excellence, innovation, and global engagement.
