Punjab Education Summit 2026: Advancing Foundational Literacy, Numeracy, and Public-Private Partnerships in Education
The School Education Department, Government of Punjab, is proud to announce the Punjab Education Summit 2026 (PES-2026), taking place from March 26–28, 2026, in Lahore, Pakistan. This premier education event will focus on Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN) and Public-Private Partnerships (PPP) as key drivers for improving learning outcomes and strengthening education service delivery across the province.
Summit Objectives
PES-2026 aligns with national education reform priorities and Pakistan’s commitments under Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG-4). The summit aims to:
Reinforce evidence-based policymaking for foundational learning.
Promote knowledge exchange between institutions and education stakeholders.
Benchmark ongoing reforms against international best practices.
Accelerate scalable partnership frameworks to improve equity, quality, and system performance in education.
Who Should Attend?
The summit will bring together a diverse range of stakeholders, including:
Senior policymakers and government officials
Academic leaders and researchers
Education practitioners and development partners
Universities, research institutions, and civil society organizations
Private sector and international agency representatives
Attendees will deliberate on reform pathways, research evidence, implementation models, and policy innovations to strengthen FLN and institutionalize effective PPP approaches across education systems.
Participation and Call for Submissions
