May 2, 2025: The Department of Sociology conducted a Board of Studies (BOS) meeting to approve the HEC-approved curriculum for Sociology programs, the revised Mission, Vision, and Objectives of the department, and changes to the M.Phil  Scheme in accordance with the updated HEC guidelines. The meeting was chaired by Dr. Raza Ullah Chairperson SOciology, RWU and attended by internal members Dr. Ume Habiba Assistant Professor , Sociology (RWU) and Ms. Kainat, Lecturer in Sociology (RWU), along with external experts Prof. Hazir Ullah (QAU), Dr. Rabia Ali (IIUI), and Dr. Sadia Saeed (QAU). All agenda items were thoroughly discussed and approved unanimously. Dr. Raza Ullah extended his sincere thanks to all members for their valuable insights and active participation.
