RWU Organizes 5 th Annual Job Fair 2026
Rawalpindi Women University (RWU) successfully organized its 5th Annual Job Fair 2026, aimed at connecting students and graduates with employment, internship, freelancing, and professional development opportunities.
The event brought together 17 organizations from diverse sectors, including information technology, banking, healthcare, non-governmental organizations, and other corporate industries. Participating companies engaged directly with students, offering insights into industry expectations, career pathways, and emerging trends such as remote work and freelancing.
Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Bushra Mirza (Pride of Performance, Tamgha-e-Imtiaz), while addressing the gathering, emphasized the critical role of women’s economic empowerment in ensuring Pakistan’s sustainable development and prosperous future. She commended the university for providing a dynamic platform that bridges the gap between academia and industry, enabling students to align their skills with market demands.
Dr. Bushra highlighted that initiatives like job fairs play a vital role in preparing youth for the evolving professional landscape. She urged industry stakeholders to actively invest in female talent and foster inclusive, safe, and equitable workplaces where women can excel and contribute meaningfully. She further noted that the inclusion of educated women in professional and decision-making roles is essential for strengthening the national economy.
During the event, students interacted with company representatives, submitted their CVs, and explored a wide range of career opportunities. Employers appreciated the students’ confidence, skills, and professional outlook, while also offering valuable guidance for their future careers.
The event concluded with a shield distribution ceremony, where senior faculty members and administrative officials recognized the participating organizations. The university administration expressed gratitude to all partners, organizers, and students for contributing to the success of the event.
