RWU Hosts Vibrant Annual Funfair

Rawalpindi Women University (RWU) organized its annual one-day funfair, transforming the campus into a lively hub of creativity, and celebration. The event aimed to provide students with a refreshing break from academic routines while promoting recreational and co-curricular engagement.

The funfair was formally inaugurated by Prof. Dr. Rooh ul Amin and Prof. Dr. Sobia Masood, Director Student Affairs and Additional Registrar, Dr. Huma Rauf, alongside senior faculty members as well as other principal officers. Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Huma highlighted the significance of such events in student development.

“Co-curricular activities play a vital role in the holistic growth of students,” she said. “We are pleased to see the enthusiasm and energy demonstrated by the students in this year’s funfair. Such activities allow students to express their creativity, and foster a sense of community.”

The event featured an array of attractions, including departmental food stalls, rides, swings, and art and craft displays. Students showcased remarkable creativity through their stalls, reflecting the diversity and spirit of various academic departments. Senior academic and administrative staff toured the stalls, commending the students’ efforts and the organizing teams for their dedication.

The funfair drew enthusiastic participation from students across all departments. The event also underscored RWU’s commitment to nurturing a dynamic campus environment that supports both academic excellence and personal growth.
