Abdul Mateen Ansari Memorial Scholarship (AMS)

Overview
The Abdul Mateen Ansari Memorial Scholarship (AMS) is a merit-cum-need based scholarship initiated by Thinkers’ Forum Pakistan (TFP) in memory of Late Mr. Abdul Mateen Ansari. The scholarship aims to support talented and financially deserving students who have secured admission on merit but face financial difficulties in continuing their higher education. Financial assistance is provided to help students complete their academic programs and become financially independent in the future.
Scholarship Benefits
  1. Financial assistance may cover approximately 50% to 90% of educational expenses, subject to assessment and approval.
  2. Scholarship funds are paid directly to the educational institution on behalf of the student.
  3. Assistance may continue throughout the duration of the academic program, provided the student maintains satisfactory academic performance and remains eligible.
Eligibility Criteria
Students must fulfill the following criteria to qualify for the AMS Scholarship:
  1. Must be enrolled in a recognized university or college, preferably a public sector institution.
  2. Must demonstrate genuine financial need.
  3. Must have obtained admission on merit.
  4. Must maintain the academic performance/CGPA prescribed under the scholarship agreement.
  5. Must not be availing any other scholarship or major financial assistance.
  6. Must abide by the rules and conditions of the scholarship program.
  7. Continued poor academic performance may result in reduction or withdrawal of the scholarship.
Required Documents
Applicants may be required to submit the following documents:
  1. CNIC/B-Form of the applicant.
  2. CNIC of Parent/Guardian.
  3. Recent Passport Size Photograph.
  4. Student ID Card.
  5. Latest Academic Transcript/Result Card.
  6. Fee Challan/Fee Structure.
  7. Income Certificate or Salary Slip of Parent/Guardian.
  8. Any additional supporting documents required by the scholarship committee.
How to Apply?
  1. Submit all required documents to the Directorate of Student Affairs / Financial Aid & Scholarship Office within the announced deadline.
  2. Shortlisted applicants may be contacted for further verification.
  3. Scholarship awards are made subject to approval by the sponsoring organization.
