Art Exhibition Marking International Women’s Day Held at RWU

Rawalpindi Women University organized an art exhibition on Women Empowerment in connection with International Women’s Day. The exhibition aimed to highlight the role, struggles, and achievements of women through the medium of art.

The exhibition was inaugurated by Prof. Dr. Rooh-ul-Amin, Head of the Department of English, alongside senior faculty members and administrative officers of the university. Praising the students’ creativity and dedication, he emphasized that such initiatives not only play a vital role in promoting the fine arts but also effectively convey the message of women rights.

The exhibition showcased a diverse array of artworks created by the students, including digital and hand-made drawings, posters, and sculptures. Various mediums such as pastels, oil paints, and mixed media techniques were used to demonstrate the art.

A highlight of the exhibition was the portraits inspired by Pakistan’s successful women. These artworks reflected women’s strength, and positive contributions to society. Through their creations, the students conveyed the message that women excel in every field, and recognizing and empowering their potential is essential for a progressive society.

At the conclusion of the event, attendees appreciated the students’ artistic efforts and expressed hope that similar initiatives would continue in the future, providing young artists with further opportunities to showcase their talents.
