Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal (PBM) provides Individual Financial Assistance (Education) to poor, deserving, and talented students enrolled in public-sector educational and technical institutions. The programme aims to help financially disadvantaged students complete their education and continue their studies without interruption.
Financial assistance is available only for regular/merit-based students studying in government institutions. Students enrolled in self-finance programmes, private institutions, or children of government employees are not eligible.
Scholarship Benefits
PBM pays educational expenses directly to the institution.
Assistance may include tuition fee and boarding charges.
Financial support is available up to PKR 150,000 per year, subject to PBM policy and approval.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must fulfill the following criteria:
Must be enrolled as a regular/merit-based student in a public-sector institution.
Must demonstrate genuine financial need.
Monthly family income should be less than PKR 74,000.
Widowed/divorced women supporting children, financially distressed families, and individuals facing sudden economic hardship may also be considered.
Assistance is generally provided on a first-come, first-served basis.
Ineligible Applicants
The following applicants are not eligible:
Government employees (including contract employees) and their family members.
Students already receiving similar financial assistance from another government organization.
Students enrolled in private institutions or self-finance programmes.
Required Documents
Applicants may be required to submit:
Application addressed to Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal.
Applicant’s CNIC/B-Form.
Bonafide Certificate on PBM prescribed format signed by the Head of Institution.
Copies of educational certificates/testimonials.
Affidavit completed by parents/guardian.
Current fee slip or fee structure issued by the institution.

Complete the application with accurate information.
Attach all required supporting documents.
Submit the application through the relevant university office/Directorate of Student Affairs within the announced timeline.
Applications are processed according to PBM rules and available funds.
