Rawalpindi Women University Merit Scholarship

Overview

Rawalpindi Women University (RWU) is committed to promoting academic excellence and providing opportunities for students to pursue higher education. To support this commitment, RWU offers merit scholarships to eligible students of Rawalpindi Women University enrolled in BS degree program.

 Merit Scholarship Award

Top scorer students from each batch achieving 1st, 2nd and 3rd position in their Semester Examination shall be awarded Merit Scholarship as follows:

Eligibility Criteria

Students must fulfill the following criteria to qualify for RWU Merit Scholarship:

1. The student must be enrolled in an Undergraduate (BS) Program.
2. The student must secure Top 3 positions in the semester examination.
3. Minimum GPA requirement:
   • Social Sciences / Arts & Humanities: GPA ≥ 3.50
   • Sciences Programs: GPA ≥ 3.75
4. In case of a tie:
   • Student with higher percentage will be awarded scholarship.
   • In case of a double tie, all students will be awarded scholarship.
5. Students must follow the academic roadmap with regular course load.
6. Merit Scholarship shall not be provided for:
   • Summer Semester
   • Final Semester (Graduating Batch)
7. If a student is not awarded Merit Scholarship due to receiving another scholarship, the scholarship will be transferred to the next student on merit.
8. A student will be granted only one financial benefit out of:
   • Merit Scholarship OR
   • Any Need Base Financial Grant
     (whichever is greater in amount)
9. Students having disciplinary punishment during the semester will be disqualified for the award of Merit Scholarship for the next one semester.

There is no need to apply. University itself will inform the eligible position holders.
