October 14–15, 2026: Rawalpindi Women University organized a soulful Mehfil-e-Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ, bringing together students and faculty members to commemorate the blessed life of the Holy Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. The gathering featured collective recitation of Durood-o-Salam, reflecting the participants’ devotion and reverence.

The event was organized through the efforts of the university’s focal persons: Ms. Jaweria Tariq, Lecturer, Department of Business Administration; Dr. Noor ul Ain, Department of Chemistry; Dr. Javeria Ameen, Department of Computer Science; Dr. Zahida Ilyas, Department of Psychology; Ms. Kainat Khan, Department of Sociology; and faculty members from Islamic Studies, Dr. Saima Bashir and Ms. Qurat Ul Ain.

The event was also attended by Prof. Brig. (R) Mamoona Mushtaq, Consultant Obs & Gyn and Head of the Gynae Department, FMDC, Abbottabad.
