Overview:
The Works Department is responsible for the execution, supervision, and maintenance of the University’s physical infrastructure. The department ensures the provision of a safe, functional, and modern environment that supports academic, research, and administrative activities. It oversees the construction of new facilities, renovation of existing buildings, maintenance of utilities, and implementation of engineering projects in accordance with approved standards and regulations.
It is my Immense pleasure to be part of Rawalpindi Women University, since the inception of P&D Department. I have an aim to provide excellence in the field of Planning & Development. In accordance with this aim, I and my team have set standards for achieving ultimate excellence in our field. Department of P&D will make its best efforts for the betterment of students in providing exclusive infrastructure facilities in the university.
Services:
- Identification of feasible projects for academic, physical growth and expansion of the university.
- Preparation, execution & monitoring of development plans and PC-I/project documents for identified projects and schemes.
- Pursue the development grant proposals with government concerned agencies, i.e., Higher Education Department, Lahore, Planning & Development Department, Lahore, HEC and Planning Commission, Islamabad.
- Performing the duties of Estate Office.
